The Allen-Bradley® Stratix® 5800 managed industrial Ethernet switch delivers Gigabit performance in a flexible package.

Its fixed and modular design supports a variety of copper, fiber, and PoE expansion modules, 

and offers Layer 2 switching or Layer 3 routing firmware options to meet a variety of application needs.

When used as a Layer 2 switch, the Stratix 5800 is ideal for high-performance end devices.

When used as a Layer 3 switch, routing can be enabled between segmented networks 

to improve performance and prevent unwanted network traffic.
