The COMTEC 6000 is an in-situ gas analyzer for measuring oxygen and
COe (the sum of unburned molecules such as carbon monoxide,
methane, or hydrogen) in flue and process gases.
This enables redundant, highly accurate, real-time measurement of both
gases, allowing for efficient combustion optimization. This is achieved by
combining the MXP sensor for COe analysis with the MLT sensor
technology for calculating the oxygen content.

Both sensors are located within the process, as the probe is installed
directly in the flue gas duct.
Precise flue gas analysis can thus be performed continuously, resulting
in the very high response speed of this flue gas analyzer to changes in
gas composition compared to extractive analyzers. In the design of this
analyzer, particular attention was paid to low maintenance, minimal
calibration effort, and unrestricted user-friendliness.
Furthermore, high investment and maintenance costs, especially
compared to extractive analyzers, can be avoided.
