The DeltaV™ S-series hardware takes the proven DeltaV hardware to a new level of robustness and ease of use.

Assembly is faster and power distribution is easier, with fewer connections using the integrated field power distribution and

increased capacity of I/O bus power.

The modular design allows you to purchase only what you need with the ability to expand online later simply by adding the

power/controller and I/O carriers are modular.

Easy to use. The DeltaV Bulk Power Supplies provide reliable 12 and 24 V DC power for your DeltaV system power and

bussed field power needs. They mount easily onto a T-type DIN rail—easy!

Improved availability. Redundancy modules based on active MOSFET technology offer significantly higher efficiencies and

lower voltage drop than traditional diode based modules, leading to less heat dissipation and better system reliability.

Flexible and cost effective. The DeltaV Bulk Power Supplies are flexible to use and cost effective, as external redundancy

modules can be applied, for example, if load sharing is desired.

Models are available both with and without conformal coating.

Small footprint. The DeltaV Bulk Power Supplies provide very competitive small footprints!

The S-series H1 with integrated power provides local LED indicators to assist in trouble shooting:

„ 2 Yellow LED’s: One per port Indicating the port is enabled and communicating with devices.

„ 2 Red LED’s: One per port indicating to health of power supply as well as monitoring voltage or short circuit faults on the physical layer.

„ Fault LED: Indicates internal fault with the H1 card.

„ Power LED: Indicates available LocalBus power.

The Fieldbus I/O Card meets ISA G3 corrosion specifications by using superior electronic components and conformal coating.

One of the most powerful features of FOUNDATION Fieldbus devices is their diagnostic data. 

Using AMS Device Manager, you can access all of the necessary information to configure,commission, 

monitor, and troubleshoot all your FOUNDATION Fieldbus smart devices.
