The 5 V and 5 V Precharge busses are not for external use.
The 24 V bus is accessible from the motherboard for
external use (protected by 5 A fuses on the source and return lines).
When redundant power supplies are running, current sharing circuitry balances the load to reduce heat
and improve the reliability of the power supplies.
The DVP firmware now supports both the newer LQ25 Three-Speed Resolver and LQ25 Single Speed Resolver (Analog).
The LQ25 Single-Speed Resolver (Analog) is a legacy valve that was used with the GS3/LQ Analog Driver.
The LQ25 Three-Speed Resolver is the current valve and used the EM Digital Driver prior to the DVP.
In previous revisions, the DVP Service Tool could not protect against a user configuring
the DVP for a LQ25 Three-Speed Resolver while actually operating a LQ25 Single-Speed Resolver valve.

In this case, the DVP would attempt to position the improperly configured valve,
and if an offline full travel valve stroke test was not performed and the turbine was started,
there existed the potential for unstable turbine operation.
Revision G of the DVP Service Tool 9927-2265 has been improved with new default
startup check limits for the LQ25 Three-Speed Resolver configuration to conduct a startup check that will detect,
and annunciate an error, preventing valve startup and turbine operation if this configuration file is used with an LQ25 Single-Speed Resolver.
The MicroNet Plus Expansion Chassis may use either single or redundant power supplies.
Each power supply module produces three regulated outputs:
24 V @ 12 A (max), 5 V @ 32 A (max, derated above
55 degree C external ambient temperature), and 5 V Precharge @ 3 A (max).
A motherboard located on the back of the chassis provides the
interconnection of the three outputs from each power supply module
into three corresponding power busses: 24 V bus, 5 V bus, and 5 V precharge bus.
The 24 V and 5 V busses are load shared between the two power supply modules.
The 5 V precharge bus is not load shared.
