The ED1897 digital input terminal acquires the binary 24 V DC

control signals from the process level and transmits them, in

electrically isolated form, to the higher-level automation device.

The EtherCAT Terminal contains 32 channels whose signal state

is indicated by LEDs. The power contacts are looped through.

With the ED1897. the reference ground for all inputs is the

24 V DC power contact.

Special features:

• ground switching

• adjustable filter times for reliable signal detection depending

on the application

• space-saving use in the control cabinet

• direct connection of multi-channel sensors in single-ended

connection technique in the smallest space

The ED series EtherCAT Terminals have push-in connection

technology which makes wiring easy and tool-free.
