TMEIC TMdrive-XL75 Medium Voltage AC Drives

6.0/6.6 kV, up to 92 MVA

The TMdrive-XL75 is a high-power, medium voltage, AC fed drive

designed for high-efficiency and power-friendly operation in a

broad range of industrial applications. A single bank drive has

15/20/23 MVA power level, and multiple banks can be used to

obtain higher power levels. Conservative design uses 4500 V, 

2100 A IEGTs, and the power bridges are water cooled.

High reliability, low harmonic distortion, and high power factor

operation are designed into the drive.

TMEIC’s water cooled design and compatibility of piping materials

with de-ionized cooling system ensures that the drive has a MTBF

of more than 20 years.
