General description

The DVC 550 is a digital automatic voltage regulator, which

monitors and regulates the alternator output with rated field

current up to 7 A and voltage supply up to 277 V AC.

It is designed for alternators with SHUNT, AREP (auxiliary

winding) or PMG (permanent magnet) excitation types.

The DVC adjusts the excitation current in the exciter field

according to the desired alternator output.

The DVC 550 includes several protections and functions to keep

the alternator running in full safe operation.

The utility software, DEIF EasyReg Advanced, provides a visual

interface to configure values and parameters. The intuitive

interface makes it fast and easy to monitor and troubleshoot.

EasyReg can also be configured directly with the USB port

without external power supply.

DEIF’s system utility software v.3 (USW-3) is a unique tool for engineers,

service personnel and end-users to configure and supervise one or several

interconnected genset controllers, available for free download from our

website.

The utility software is easy to install, the general purpose software works

off the-shelf using Ethernet or USB cable communication  to configure,

commission and supervise both single gensets and plants of up to 256

units.

The utility software tool is compatible with a range of DEIF controllers;

it adjusts easily to the capabilities of the connected devices and has been

designed with versatility in view.

The utility software, M-Logic, allows complex logic customisation with

configuration and evaluation of up to 40 logi expressions, including for

instance configuration of user level access, and features innovative pre

-installation configuration and emulation of plant design.

Incorporating extensive functionalities including overviews of alarms,

coolant temperatures, plant values, and fuel consumption, the utility

software, USW-3. is also an intuitive, easy-to-use tool for end-users to

operate on a day-today basis.

The DVC 350 is a cost-effective digital AVR that offers a wide range

of alternator protections and functions. Its digital setup options make

it ideally suited for volume production.

Automatic Voltage Regulator

The DVC 350 is a digital automatic voltage regulator (AVR) for controlling

alternators  which require rated field currents up to 5 A. Designed for a

wide range of alternators with SHUNT, AREP (auxiliary winding), or PMG

(permanent magnet) excitation, the DVC 350 controls the alternator from

the field current or the output voltage regulation loops. It includes several

protections and functions that keep the alternator running efficiently and

safely.
