It is a part of the EX2100 excitation system and an integral component designed for use in GE Innovation Series Drives. Its primary function is to serve as a passive interface with the IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) gate terminals within the drives. Specifically built for Innovation Series Drives, it offers versatility by supporting both simplex and triple redundant configurations based on the unique requirements of the drive system. 

The board collaborates with dual modules, providing the necessary components for the passive output stage interface at the gate terminals. This interface board plays a crucial role in normalizing functions relative to the Phase Interface and Control Board. Characteristics Indicator LEDs (LED1 and LED2): The board features two indicator LEDs, labeled LED1 and LED2, strategically positioned on opposite sides. These LEDs illuminate when the IGBTs are gated ON, providing visual feedback on the operational status of the board. Connectors (J1 and J2 Plug Connectors): Equipped with plug connectors J1 and J2, facilitating secure connections within the system. 

These connectors play a vital role in ensuring seamless integration and reliable performance. Functional Revision (Not Backwards Compatible): The board has a functional revision denoted by the letter 'A,' signifying its distinct functional characteristics. 

It is important to note that this revision is not backward compatible. Other Connections (E1-E6 IGBT Eyelet Connections): The board incorporates six IGBT eyelet connections (E1 through E6), constructed from factory-drilled holes encircled by conductive material. These connections are essential for interfacing with the IGBT gate terminals. Features Plug Components (P1 and P2): The board is equipped with two plug components, denoted as P1 and P2, enhancing connectivity and ease of installation. Diodes for Transient Voltage Suppression: Two diodes are incorporated into the board to suppress transient voltage, contributing to the overall stability of the system. 

High Voltage Diode: The presence of a high voltage diode reinforces the board's capacity to handle high voltage requirements effectively. Gating Resistors and Bleed Resistor: The board includes gating resistors for gate ON and gate OFF functions, along with a bleed resistor, ensuring precise control and safe operation. Indicator LEDs for Gated ON Status: LED indicators provide visual confirmation when the IGBTs are gated ON, aiding in monitoring and diagnostics. 

No Fuses or Adjustable Hardware: The absence of fuses and adjustable hardware simplifies the board's operation, reducing complexity and potential points of failure. Factory-Use Test Points: Although the board features four test points (TP) for factory use, they are not intended for user access.
