FAILOPT
Series C AO module supports the FAILOPT parameter on a per channel basis. The user can configure each channel to
either HOLD LAST VALUE, or SHED to a SAFE VALUE. The Output will always go to zero, the safe state, if the IOM
device electronics fails.

locations on the carrier. See the following dimension drawing for details.
2. Besure componentside ofIOTAisfacingup. Secure IOTAto carrier usingscrews,
washers andspacers provided.
Insertspacers andwashers between bottomofIOTAandtopofcarrier.
Onlytighten mountingscrews halfway.
3. Tighten the screwsin terminals 24 Vdc+ andCOM(logicground)to the verticalbus bar to
connect the cabinet resident 24 Vdcpower supply to the IOTA.
4. Fully tighten the mountingscrews.
5. RepeatSteps1 to4 tomountthe secondCF9 IOTAimmediatelybelow the one thatwasjust installed.

Analogue Output Module
An optional Analogue Output Module, (Part Number 05701-A-0285),
may be factory fitted to the Single Channel Control Card and is used on a channel of gas detection to provide an isolated current loop output which follows the sensor signal level.
This may be set electronically to produce a 0 - 20mA output or a 4 - 20mA output and can be used to operate a chart recorder, etc.
