The analog input terminals process signals in the range between
and 20 mA. The currentis digitised to a resolution of 12 bits andis
transmitted, in an electrically isolated form, to the higher-level
automation device. In the 4-channel Bus Terminal, the four inputsare
2-wire versions and have a common ground potential. The reference
ground of the inputs is the internal ground. The 8-channelvariant
combines all eight channels in one housing and is particularly suitable
for space-saving installation in control cabinets. Theuse of single
conductor connection technology enables the connection of
multi-channel sensor technolgy with minimum spacerequirements.
The reference ground for allinputs is the OV power contact. In both
Bus Terminals the power contacts are connectedthrough. Overload
is detected in both variants. The terminal status is relayed to the
controller via the standard-bus. The LEDs indicatethe data exchange
with the Bus Coupler as well as overload or wire breakage.
