Part Number IS200JPDGH1A Manufacturer General Electric Country of Manufacture As Per GE Manufacturing Policy Series Mark VIe Function Module Availability In StockIS200JPDGH1A is a Power Distribution Module developed by General Electric. It is a part of the Mark VIe Speedtronic control system. The board distributes 28 V dc (control power) and 48 V / 24 V dc (wetting power) to other control system boards. It also includes sensing circuitry for two alternating current distribution channels. The JDPG 28 V dc distribution section accepts two separate power supply inputs via external diodes. The JPDG integrates into the PDM system feedback with the PPDA I/O pack.
It can sense and diagnose two alternating current signals that are distributed outside of this board. IS200JPDGH1A Functional Description The JPDG board receives 28 V dc input power from external ac/dc or dc/dc converters and distributes it to the control system for control power distribution. Fuse protection is provided for all 28 V dc outputs on the board. The JPDG can operate at either 24 V dc or 48 V dc for wetting power distribution. The board receives dc power from two power supplies and distributes it to terminal boards and other system loads via external diodes. Bulk 500 W - 24 V input / 28 V output power supplies that provide I/O pack control power are not powered by the JPDG. Using resistors, the component supports a floating dc wetting power bus that is centered on Earth. The Mark VIeS Safety Control is a stand-alone safety control system for IEC-61508-compliant safety-critical applications. It also employs the ControlST software suite to facilitate maintenance while retaining a distinct set of authorized hardware and software modules.
The ToolboxST application allows the Mark VIeS to be locked or unlocked for configuration and safety instrumented function (SIF) programming. Installation The JPDG is vertically mounted on a metal bracket in the PDM's cabinet. P2, a 50-pin diagnostic connector, is mounted on the board's bottom. JPDG is attached to the module base with four screws through the mounting holes at the top and bottom. The location of the distribution board within the control cabinet is not critical; however, distribution boards are typically mounted low in the cabinet to facilitate grounding. Connector JA1 is used to connect the PPDA I/O pack. It is attached to the JPDG base with an angle bracket and held in place with nuts threaded onto studs permanently attached to the base.
Other distribution boards' diagnostic feedback inputs are routed to JPDG via a 50-pin ribbon cable connected to connector P2. Grounding The board is grounded to the underlying back base via the sheet metal bracket. This is usually FE grounding. When creating the feedback signals seen on P2, the FE ground is used as a local reference point. The use of functional earth as a ground reference has no effect on the ac voltage detection accuracy on JAC1.
