This board is for GE EX2100 Excitation Control System. EPBP, which stands for Exciter Power Backplane, is the functional acronym or abbreviation used in GE documentation and manuals. M1, M2, and C Control are all represented on this backplane. The backplane allows many attached modules to communicate with one another via a variety of DIN connectors. These modules include the following: EPSM Power Supply Exciter Ground Detector Modules (EGDM) EDEX EDCF The EPBP backplane board is divided into four pieces.
