This backplane card plays a critical role in the system's infrastructure, providing essential connections and data pathways for VME boards. Backplane Card Features P1 and P2 Connectors: The backplane card features P1 and P2 connectors designed for VME boards. The P1 connectors facilitate data communication across the backplane, ensuring effective interaction between boards.

The P2 connectors handle data transfer between the board and the DC-37 pin J3 and J4 connectors situated directly beneath each board. J3 and J4 Connectors: Cables extend from the J3 and J4 connectors to the terminal boards, allowing for efficient data transfer and connectivity within the control system. Rack Power Supply Features Purpose: The Mark VI VME rack power supply is crucial for providing stable and reliable power to the VME (Versa Module Europa) control and interface racks. It ensures that all connected devices receive the necessary voltage levels for optimal performance. Mounting: The power supply is mounted on the side of the VME control and interface racks, allowing for efficient space utilization and easy maintenance access. Voltage Outputs: The power supply delivers multiple voltage outputs to accommodate various component needs within the VME backplane: +5 V DC: Powers most digital logic circuits and low-voltage components. 

DC: Used for analog circuits, operational amplifiers, and other components requiring bipolar voltage.DC: Similar to outputs but used for analog circuits requiring a slightly higher voltage range. 

DC: Provides higher voltage for specific applications or components needing more power. Optional 335 V DC Output: Designed for powering high-voltage equipment like the Turbine Regulator and Protection Generator (TRPG). Supply Input Voltage Selections: Offers two input voltage options to meet various installation requirements: 125 V DC Input Supply: Powered from a Power Distribution Module (PDM) for industrial or large-scale applications where higher voltage levels are standard.

24 V DC Input Supply (Low Voltage Version): Suitable for applications requiring lower voltage levels, providing safety and low power consumption. Installation and Mounting: The power supply mounts on the side of the VME control and interface racks, facilitating integration with existing systems and efficient space usage within the control cabinet or enclosure. This configuration also allows convenient access for maintenance and troubleshooting.
