Backplane Card Features P1 and P2 Connectors: The backplane card features P1 and P2 connectors designed for VME boards. The P1 connectors facilitate data communication across the backplane, ensuring effective interaction between boards.

The P2 connectors handle data transfer between the board and the DC-37 pin J3 and J4 connectors situated directly beneath each board. J3 and J4 Connectors: Cables extend from the J3 and J4 connectors to the terminal boards, allowing for efficient data transfer and connectivity within the control system. Rack Power Supply Features Purpose: The Mark VI VME rack power supply is crucial for providing stable and reliable power to the VME (Versa Module Europa) control and interface racks. It ensures that all connected devices receive the necessary voltage levels for optimal performance. Mounting: The power supply is mounted on the side of the VME control and interface racks, allowing for efficient space utilization and easy maintenance access. Voltage Outputs: The power supply delivers multiple voltage outputs to accommodate various component needs within the VME backplane: +5 V DC: Powers most digital logic circuits and low-voltage components.
