Gas turbines are a common type of energy generation. Gas turbines use an internal combustion engine to ignite and create a gas mixture from a fuel and air mixture. This gas mixture creates pressure and causes the turbine to spin, generating energy. The DS3800NHVK is equipped with four large black capacitors, four large silver capacitors, four medium-sized yellow capacitors, and two tiny yellow capacitors (these store excess energy).

The board contains 18 diodes (limit energy flow). The board contains seven black diodes, ten grey diodes, and two white diodes. The board also includes four red LEDs (light-emitting diodes). The board is characterized by four large black relays, and they control the amount of energy that the board accepts, especially if the energy current is greater than the circuit board's capacity. The board has six male ports with white plastic casings and three prongs in each port. The circuit board has twenty holes.

These holes serve to hold the board in place. For easy identification, each piece of the board is labeled with its respective letter and number combination. The circuit board's part number is also printed along the board's edge.
