The DS3800HRRA is meant to be installed quickly in the drive. On one end, the board has a modular connector, while on the other, it has retention levers. There are 8 red indication LEDs on the board, as well as a reset toggle button. The analog/digital converter is a board-mounted component. It transforms analog signals into digital signals. Throughout the trip, signal processing is done in digital format.

One amber indicator LED is also included on the PCB. By looking at the indicator LEDs, the operator can keep an eye on the board. Each of the red indicator LEDs indicates the activity of a single circuit. When the red LEDs flash, it means that something is happening. There are various explanations for this, but the reset toggle switch is the first place to look for answers. The switch is situated at the front of the board, allowing the operator to access it while the drive is running. Only trained persons are could use the switch. This is caused by the drive's high-voltage current when it is turned on. Only those who are aware of the risk of serious injury from high-voltage electricity should work inside the drive when it is turned on. There are various explanations for this, but the reset toggle switch is the first place to look for answers.

The switch is situated at the front of the board, allowing the operator to access it while the drive is running. Only trained servicers are allowed to use the switch. This is caused by the drive's high-voltage current when it is turned on. Only those who are aware of the risk of serious injury from high-voltage electricity should work inside the drive when it is turned on. When the switch is pressed, the board's processing is halted for about 30 seconds. This will disable the transmission of control signals to the board as well as the transmission of control signals from the board. If the signals have fallen out of sequence, the reset action may be able to fix the problem and restore full functionality to the board.
