Analog Motion Modules
The ControlLogix family of analog servo modules is a cost effective option for
closed-loop or open-loop motion control of devices that support an analog
motion interface. The analog servo modules provide a ±10V analog
output-command reference and support a variety of position feedback devices.
As many as two axes can be controlled per module, and multiple modules can
be used to provide as many as 32 axes of control per ControlLogix controller.

SERCOS Interface Modules
The SERCOS interface modules use a single, digital fiber-optic link, which
eliminates as many as 18 digital wires per axis. Detailed drive-status
information can be sent from drive to controller and from controller to drive.
The SERCOS interface modules can connect to these servo drives:
• 2093 Kinetix 2000 multi-axis servo drive
• 2094 Kinetix 6000 multi-axis servo drive
• 2099 Kinetix 7000 high-power servo drive
• 2098 Ultra3000 SERCOS servo drive
The PlantPAx® 5.0 distributed control system (DCS) introduces new process functionality native to controllers,
cyber-secured architectures, and improved system availability and workflows.
These benefits help reduce the complexity of traditional DCS and overall costs at
all phases of the plant lifecycle for hybrid and Process industries.
Accelerate your digital transformation with our latest PlantPAx® 5.0 DCS version and unlock
more opportunities with our ControlLogix® 5580 and CompactLogix™ 5380 Process controllers.
ATTENTION:
The installation of the drive must be planned such that all cutting, drilling, tapping
and welding can be accomplished with the drive removed from the enclosure.
The drive is of the open type construction and any metal debris must be kept from falling into the drive.
Metal debris or other foreign matter may become lodged in the drive circuitry resulting in component damage. !
An incorrectly applied or installed drive can result in component damage or a reduction in product life.
Wiring or application errors, such as, undersizing the motor, incorrect or inadequate AC supply,
or excessive ambient temperatures may result in malfunction of the system. !
Only qualified personnel familiar with DC drives and associated machinery should plan or implement the installation,
start-up and subsequent maintenance of the system.
Failure to comply may result in personal injury and/or equipment damage.
These faults and warnings can be cleared with a clear faults command.
You may have to perform a reset after power-up, or perform multiple resets.
