KUKA controller KSD1-48 KSD Servo Drive

Kuka KSD Servo Drive which features a Rated Input Power of DC 0-565/675V, a Rated Input Current of 20.9/16.8A and a version number of 1-48.

KSD1-48 by Kuka is in the KSD Servo Drive Family. 

This KSD1-48 offers a Rated Input Power of DC 0-565/675V and Rated Output Power of AC 0-400/480V.

It also features a Rated Input Current of 20.9/16.8A, Rated Output Current of 17.0/13.6A and a Weight of 5 lbs.

The solution

The subassemblies of the ladder frame (side members, cross members and add-on parts) are manufactured in 14 highly standardized welding stations, 

each with one component loading station and two fixtures. 

KUKA dual turnover positioners are used to place all components in the best position with regard to ergonomics or processes.

This way, operators or robots have optimal access to the components at all times. 

The finished side members and cross members are then picked up by fully automated linear gantries.

which were largely manufactured manually. In June 2014. 

to accommodate growing demand while ensuring product quality, 

Gestamp Umformtechnik Bielefeld took over fully automated production of the ladder frame for the VW production facility in Hanover, which serves Europe and neighboring markets.
