INSTALLATION: Begin by securely mounting your chosen terminal board in the desired location, ensuring it is firmly in place. Insert the I/O pack directly into the terminal board connectors, ensuring a secure connection. For mechanical stability, fasten the I/O pack(s) in place using the threaded studs located next to the Ethernet ports. Depending on your system configuration, connect one or two Ethernet cables to the I/O pack. The I/O pack can operate effectively using either port. In dual connection scenarios, it is standard practice to connect ENET1 to the network associated with the R controller. Power up the I/O pack by plugging in the connector located on the side of the pack. You do not need to remove power from the cable before plugging it in because the I/O pack features inherent soft-start capability.
