It is a part of the Mark VIe Series used in GE Distributed Gas Turbine Control Systems. The Migration I/O Terminal Board acts as an interface between the new and old control systems, allowing for the transfer of data and signals between the two systems. This can be particularly useful when the new system uses different communication protocols or signal types than the legacy system.

FEATURES

The PMVD module is suitable for use with control module applications, as well as in triple modular redundant or simplex architectures. Please keep in mind that when using simplex architecture, only a control module will be used. It is compatible with a variety of terminal board types including the DTBD, DTBB, DTBA, and DTBC boards. During board operation, there are two main input and output types: contact inputs and relay contact outputs. There is a specific number associated with each input and output type; for example, there are sixty outputs in relation to the relay contact outputs, but only ninety-six contact inputs.

During the operation of the PMVD board, which is a TCRA board, an interface board is also typically required. This model is classified as a termination box. It should be noted that the PMVD model has several group variations; this model is an H1A variation and cannot be removed. The board may also have additional features such as signal conditioning, surge protection, or isolation to ensure that the signals being transferred are accurate and reliable. Overall, using Migration I/O Terminal Boards in control system migration can simplify the process of upgrading or replacing legacy systems, reducing the cost and complexity of the project.
