Furthermore, output conditioning is provided to ensure that the dc current has little noise and no spikes. It is housed inside a sizable metal housing that has numerous apertures and grilles for heat ventilation.

A board with eight female plug connections is one of several circuit boards that are put externally on the device. Surface-connected plugs on this board allow connections to inside components.
