The CX7293 Embedded PC has an Arm® Cortex®-A9 single-core processor with
720 MHz. In the basic configuration, the CX7293 has a slot for a microSD card and
an Ethernet interface. As a special feature, the CX7000 series has eight integrated
multi-functional inputs as well as four integrated multi-functional outputs.
E-bus or K-bus terminals can be attached as required; the CX7293 automatically
recognizes the type of I/O system connected during the start-up phase.
The control system is programmed with TwinCAT 3 via the Ethernet interface.
The CX7293 has a PROFINET RT device interface.

outputs. The CX7051 has a CANopen responder (slave) interface.
E-bus or K-bus terminals can be attached as required; the CX7051 automatically
recognizes the type of I/O system connected during the start-up phase.
The control system is programmed with TwinCAT 3 via the Ethernet interface.
The EK1101-0080 EtherCAT Coupler is the link between the EtherCAT protocol
at fieldbus level and the EtherCAT Terminals. The coupler converts the passing
telegrams from Ethernet 100BASE-TX to E-bus signal representation.
A station consists of a coupler and any number of EtherCAT Terminals that are
automatically detected and individually displayed in the process image.

The EK1101-0080 supports Fast Hot Connect technology. This facilitates
significantly faster connection of the EtherCAT components in applications
with changing topologies. Compared to Hot Connect, which is an EtherCAT
feature and enables direct coupling and uncoupling of components during
system operation, Fast Hot Connect offers even faster data transfer and
allows even faster tool changes.
