OnRobot, a one-stop application provider for collaborative robotics applications, has announced the launch of its first software product, WebLytics, which provides a unique production monitoring, equipment diagnostics and data analytics solution that increases productivity and minimises downtime.
WebLytics is able to monitor the operational performance of multiple collaborative applications simultaneously in real-time and collects equipment data from robots and tools, which is then transformed into easy-to-understand visualisations and smart application presentations.

WebLytics integrates the globally recognised industry test standard for Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), which identifies dynamic trends in robot cells in real time, including patterns, peaks and disruptions in application capacity.The OEE standard measures the percentage of production time that is truly effective - if over-measurement is 100 per cent, it indicates that the collaborative application is producing every part as fast as it can without downtime. Using OEE measurement tools, WebLytics can determine if the manufacturing process is running at optimal speed and can monitor and analyse the quality of the application cycle, which is extremely critical for manufacturers of any size.
WebLytics can report on the utilisation of the robotic arm and OnRobot tools (such as grippers, vision cameras and sensors), the number of safety stops, and the number of gripping cycles completed during the application run.
If the robot cell has been altered, for example by making adjustments to the robot speed or gripper settings, WebLytics can also automatically report on the impact of these changes on application performance.
If a collaborative application experiences an anomaly after deployment, WebLytics enables users to analyse the data collected from the robot and tools directly and report the results using customisable data panels.
