● Smart Machining Solutions

Intelligent machinery is an important step towards intelligent manufacturing. To help manufacturers increase productivity or realise a small number of diverse production modes, Delta will exhibit intelligent machining solutions at TIMTOS x TMTS 2022. Through the industrial-grade managed Ethernet switch DVS series, the company will set up a ring network with high-end high-speed multi-ring backup technology ONE RING PLUS, which will connect intelligent lathes, machining centres and grinders at the ground level. The intelligent lathes, machining centres and grinding machines on the ground floor are connected to the IT layer via the equipment networking platform DIALink, and combined with the manufacturing management platform DIAMMP, the energy management platform DIAEnergie and the plant management platform DIAView, the solution provides managers with graphical and useful information that can help them make decisions.

Intelligent CNC System Architecture

In response to the integration into the Industry 4.0 factory ecosystem, Delta introduced a new intelligent CNC system architecture with the launch of the new-generation CNC controllers NC5 series, with the CNC controllers as the core to connect Delta's rich products. Along with the significant upgrade of hardware specifications and performance, the NC5 series supports the open EtherCAT ubiquitous motion bus, with high compatibility and cable lengths up to 1.000 m, allowing high-speed and stable integration of Delta's AC servo drive ASDA-A3 / ASDA-B3 series and I/O modules R2-EC / R1-EC to form a complete machining solution; in addition, for customers with basic needs, Delta also offers CNC controllers for the CNC system. In addition, for customers with basic needs, Delta also offers CNC controllers NC3 series, based on DMCNET high-speed communication motion control, which can be connected to AC servo drive system ASDA-A3 / S series, and integrate high-speed tandem optically coupled I/O NC-EIO with Remote I/O. Both solutions can be paired with communication-type ring encoder RHM or pulse wave encoder EH5. In addition, according to different operation requirements, Delta also introduces the new CNC touch panel display NC-MOT series, the touch-based PC-Based Industrial Controller PAC / MP1 series and the CNC second operating panel NC-PAN for customers' easy selection and use.

5-Axis Machining Centre

In the face of industrial space and manpower challenges, high-efficiency machining equipment has become a common demand for machinery manufacturers to break through the difficult situation, in which five-axis machining equipment that can process complex workpieces in one go is an important solution that has attracted much attention in the machine tool field. In this regard, during TIMTOS x TMTS 2022. Delta took the newly launched OPEN CNC controller NC50E as the core to create a five-axis machining centre for the machinery industry Danamec, which not only realizes simultaneous control of multiple channels for ‘multi-tasking’, but also integrates new products of Delta's industrial robot field, such as vertical multi-joint robots DRVA401.
