TE Industrial Introduces M8/M12 Wire Harness Configurator

The Industrial Division of TE Connectivity (‘TE’), a global leader in connectivity and sensing, announces that the M8/M12 Harness Configurator, a one-stop customised service tool for secure and reliable communication applications, is now available on TE's official website. The M8/M12 harnesses are mainly used in industrial machinery, production lines, robotics and industrial automation, ensuring the reliable transmission of signals, data and power in the equipment.

With the rapid development of Industry 4.0. the application scenarios of connectors and sensors are becoming more and more abundant, and customer needs are becoming more and more diversified. As an online digital tool that can quickly meet the needs of customised design, the M8/M12 Harness Configurator supports multi-parameter selection and provides a 3D view of the product. Users are not only able to select parameters such as application areas, industrial buses, harness types and requirements, cable characteristics, etc., but also can view the 3D model of the product from multiple perspectives, check the product dimensions in real time, and make adjustments as needed.

Different from the previous selection tool, M8/M12 harness configurator in the beginning of the design of the engineer user thinking, to fully meet the user for the accessories design, drawing access, product quotes, online order one-stop demand, through the whole chain of customised services, greatly improving the efficiency of the selection and quotation.
