GE IC660BBD022 16 Circuit Enabled Source I/O Module

The IC660BBD022 is a Genius protocol-enabled module that is part of the Genius I/O Block series of distributed I/O modules. The device is a stand-alone, single node I/O station with sixteen (16) I/O circuits that supports source-wired configurations.The IC660BBD022 has sixteen (16) I/O circuits and operates at 24 / 48 VDC.Each channel of the module can be configured as an input and an output, and is capable of exchanging data over the supplied Genius I/O Bus Terminal, allowing the module to be used in a wide variety of applications including GE Programmable Logic and Automation Controllers (PLC / PAC) as well as Bus Controllers, PC Interface Modules, Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and third party devices. The module is a panel-mounted, self-contained device in an open enclosure, so it must be mounted inside the enclosure to provide adequate protection from industrial contaminants. The module can be mounted remotely with a maximum distance of 7.500 feet from partner equipment. It also allows daisy-chaining of other I/O modules to form a Genius I/O network. Operation of the module can be configured locally using a handheld monitor (HHM) through the HHM port mounted on top of the terminal assembly. It can also be configured remotely using the host controller's programming software. The module's input channels accept 12 / 24 VDC nominal voltage with a 1.7 ms start-up delay. Similarly, the output channels generate 2 amps of current per circuit with a maximum turn-on delay of 1 ms. The module consists of two (2) assemblies, specifically the IC660EBD020 electronics assembly and the IC660TBD022 terminal base assembly.
