The IC200ALG620 is a 4-channel resistance temperature detector (RTD) input module for the VersaMax I/O family.

Formerly manufactured by GE Intelligent Platforms, it is now manufactured by Emerson Automation.

With four (4) RTD inputs, the module is compatible with 3-wire or 4-wire RTD devices, and supports different types of RTD sensors

such as platinum 25. 100 and 1000 ohms; copper 10. 50 and 100 ohms; nickel 100 and 120 ohms; and nickel/iron 604 ohms.

The IC200ALG620 supports both 3-wire and 4-wire RTD sensors. Each channel has a dedicated analogue-to-digital (ADC) converter circuit with 16-bit conversion resolution.

The module has a measurement accuracy of +/-25.0% (at 15 degrees Celsius) for resistance measurements and +/-0.15% in RTD (temperature) measurement mode.

Each input channel is capable of detecting open RTDs, input shorts, under-range, over-range, non-volatile memory storage faults, wiring faults and high/low alarms.

These faults and alarm conditions are reported to the host programmable logic controller (PLC) for integration.

The module has an update rate of 60 ms per channel at 210 Hz and 50 ms per channel at 230 Hz.

It is also fitted with an OK LED which indicates backplane power supplied to the module when green is lit and module failure when amber is lit.

The module has a backplane current draw of 0 mA at 125.5 VDC bus output and 3 mA at 125.3 VDC bus output.

The IC200ALG620 module is a 16-bit module manufactured by GE Fanuc. It is an analogue input module designed with 4 channels.

It provides 16-bit resolution. It runs on 5 volts and has an update rate of 210 ms.

It is equipped with LED indicators that help the user to know the different status of the module. It has FLD PWR LED and OK LED.

It lights up in amber when there is a diagnostic error in the module. The LED flashes green when the module is being updated or is in startup mode.

It draws a total of 1500 mA. It can be updated at 60 to 125 Hz, depending on the channel.

The module has a common-mode rejection ratio of 50 dB at 60 to 120 Hz over a 50% span.

Normal mode rejection is 60 dB at similar frequencies.The IC100ALG60 module should not exceed 200 degrees Celsius operating temperature in a clean environment.

The IC620ALG60 module is easy to configure and install. During installation, the module should be properly grounded to avoid electrical damage.
