Introduction

The Digital Input Guard (B-2291) from Beckwith Electric is a field

-installable extended I/O voltage divider module designed to prevent

unwanted activation of the M-7679 R-PAC's Extended Inputs.

On protected inputs, the Guard requires 80–180 V dc to activate a

contact, preventing false input triggers caused by EMI.

This product is available in three configurations to protect digital inputs

5–8. 9–12. or all (5–12). Compact and field-ready, the B-2291 integrates

easily with existing connections and requires no additional configuration.

Humidity: Maximum relative humidity 80% for temperatures

up to 31 °C (87.8 °F), decreasing to 31 °C linearly to 50% RH

materials, dew, percolating water, rain, and solar radiation.

responsible for complying with local regulations when disposing of

electronic equipment removed from fixed installations. Alternatively,

equipment can be returned to Beckwith Electric for recycling—customers

cover shipping cost, and Beckwith Electric covers recycling cost.
