Pepperl+Fuchs Introduces New Generation of EtherCAT Analog Terminals

Pepperl+Fuchs introduces a new generation of compact EtherCAT high-density analog terminal blocks that significantly improve the performance of IP20 I/O products in this category.

With up to eight channels and 16-bit resolution, the seven new terminals offer a wide range of applications and an excellent price/performance ratio.

The new generation of analog I/O from Pepperl+Fuchs is preceded by seven EtherCAT input/output terminals.

The new generation of analog terminal blocks includes the EL4374. Pepperl+Fuchs' first hybrid analog input/output terminal block (10 V/20 mA or -20/0/+4 to +20 mA) with a conversion rate of 2 ks per channel.

It is Peifu's first hybrid analog input/output terminal (10 V/20 mA or -20/0/+4 to +20 mA) with a conversion rate of 2 ksps per channel. 

2 inputs and 2 outputs can be individually parameterized for current or voltage modes via TwinCAT (via CoE).

The terminal supports ±107 % extended range and also supports the processing of sensor signals within the range according to the NAMUR NE43 standard.

Outputs are available up to 107 % of nominal value, and a maximum load of 750 Ω is permissible at 20 mA output power.

The EL3072 and EL3074 analog input terminals have the same functionality with a 16-bit resolution (previously 12-bit) and can be used as 10 V / 20 mA universal inputs.

The EL3072 has two inputs that can be individually parameterized, while the EL3074 has four.

Another new model is the 8-channel high-density terminal EL3078.
