CeMAT ASIA 2021. a trendsetter in the international logistics industry, lands in Shanghai from 26th to 28th October and is held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). This year, Bosch Rexroth presented its ROKIT mobile robot kit at booth N1-1. The ROKIT family consists of aXessor, Locator, Navigator and Motor. The aXessor is an overarching graphical user interface that provides centralised access and control of all ROKIT components. Based on the Unity design, aXessor provides clear and wizard-like instructions for efficiently debugging and running all ROKIT components, as well as monitoring notifications and feedback at any time. The interface is designed with the customer experience in mind and can be easily mastered.

ROKIT Locator, the star of the ROKIT family. It won the ‘Intralogistics Software’ category at the 2020 International Intralogistics and Forklift Awards. As a software component, Locator reliably determines the position and orientation of all types of vehicles in dynamic environments. High-performance algorithms enable the use of on-board laser sensors to automatically detect the natural environment and build maps without any infrastructure modifications. The software solves the challenge of accurate positioning of mobile robots with great flexibility and ease of use, and can be used for a wide range of mobile robots, diverse industries and application scenarios. Available as a software-only solution or as a ready-to-use solution installed on a compact industrial PC, it is compatible with a wide range of different brands and types of radar and industrial PCs, and supports flexible LiDAR installation.

ROKIT Navigator is a highly efficient motion planning software with built-in motion models that can be quickly integrated into existing systems. It automatically determines obstacles and narrow aisles based on the information and plans for obstacle avoidance accordingly.

The Rokit Motor is a plug-and-play, compact drive module that builds on the high quality and experience of Rexroth in the field of drives and controls. The module is highly efficient in terms of logistics. Plug and play and a high degree of integration mean that the development effort of the user is reduced.
