Rockwell Automation, one of the world's largest industrial automation, information technology and digital transformation companies, has recently launched the new Allen-Bradley CENTERLINE 1500 Medium Voltage Motor Control Center (hereinafter referred to as “CENTERLINE 1500”).
The new Allen-Bradley CENTERLINE 1500 Medium Voltage Motor Control Center (“CENTERLINE 1500”) improves safety in the workplace and covers a wide range of applications, from oil and gas refining to food and beverage processing.
The CENTERLINE 1500 is equipped with the new Integrated Protective Mounding Ground (IPMG) device, which is not only UL recognized, but also sets new safety standards.
Rather than manually connecting risky temporary earth cables, engineers can simply roll the handle of the integrated device to connect and earth all load side cables.
The IPMG device has the following features:
● Provides a method of simultaneously grounding all load-side connections (including the load cable).
● Removes the commonly used grounding globe and temporary grounding cable assembly, eliminating cumbersome and risky grounding work.
● Grounding the output (load side connection) without opening the power unit door.
● Seamless integration into the motor control center's battery.
Industrial organizations need to respond to changing safety environments and requirements,” said Jeff Fowler, product manager for Rockwell Automation.
This integrated ground switch eliminates the need for additional temporary grounding cables, and the new IPMG devices take safety to the next level in demanding manufacturing, processing and production environments.”
The IPMG device can also be used in CENTERLINE motor control centers with ArcShield Arc Resistant Controller planning.
