Bergerac Introduces New X90 Control System Safety Relay Module

Mobile machines are becoming more and more autonomous. They require controllers that are both compact and safe.

Bergerac has extended its X90 control system with an option board that allows a floating ground connection to external safety devices, thus making mobile machines safer.

Mobile controllers with safe, floating outputs were not previously available on the market.

With Bergerac's new safety relay module, external safety components such as drives or laser scanners can now be connected to the X90 controller via a floating ground emergency stop circuit.

Safety ratings up to PLe / SIL3 are possible. This option board is particularly suitable for autonomous agricultural and construction machinery.
