ADLINK Introduces Integrated 4-Axis PCI Express Pulse Motion Control Card

With high performance and superior accuracy, these control cards are designed to meet the motion control equipment requirements of many high-growth electronics manufacturing sectors, including the semiconductor, AOI and LED industries.

The ADLINK AMP-104C is an entry-level control card that reliably and accurately performs basic point-to-point (P2P) motion control and offers additional encoder inputs and position latches that provide more precise positioning when applied to stepper motors, delivering high added value at an affordable price.

The ADLINK AMP-304C is an advanced motion control card that provides superior speed and accuracy for more complex automation applications.The AMP-304C comes with a dedicated DIN-304C terminal block that helps simplify cable distribution, and when dual-carded, not only improves overall performance, but also minimises total cost of ownership.

Both AMP motion control cards feature a two-in-one design for motion control and I/O functions. By integrating hardware and software, all port functions are combined into one device, making it easier to manage and lowering the total cost of ownership without compromising I/O functions. Customers can decide whether they need to connect I/O devices or perform different motion operations through I/O connectors.

The ADLINK AMP-304C provides 16-channel outputs for an exclusive position comparison function, which saves API configuration time by simplifying setup of repeatable motion applications through the ‘Compare Points Multiplexing’ mode, and supports ‘Quick Response API’ and ‘Command and Control API’. The AMP-304C also supports ‘Quick Response API’ and ‘Command Preload Mode’, which reduces execution time between the motion control card and CPU, thereby increasing throughput and further improving Unit Production Hour (UPH). All of these advanced AMP-304C features can be set up and managed through ADLINK's APS SDK, which provides a single code base and unified user interface that delivers more than 400 motion control functions to no-code test developers. With ADLINK's SDK, motion control systems can be easily upgraded, centrally managed and quickly deployed.
