Design

The Vibrometer VM600Mk2 is designed to provide state-of-the-art vibration monitoring and protection (SIL 2), especially for large critical rotating machinery with high channel counts.

Its modular 19-inch card allows the user to build a system to suit specific application requirements.

In addition, the system can be integrated with VibroSight software, which provides detailed insight into the condition of rotating machinery and a wide range of analysis options.

The VM600Mk2 is suitable for plants where rotating machinery is concentrated in one area, requiring centralized monitoring and a high channel count.

Features

System isolation

The VM600Mk2 uses a single type of card (MPC4Mk2) for monitoring and condition monitoring.

However, these functions are tightly segregated to ensure API 670 compliance and reduce costs.

A separate (optional) XMV16 condition monitoring card is available for applications with a large number of channels.

High channel density

The standalone VM600Mk2 protection card has 4 input channels, but each VM600 can be expanded to a maximum of 48 input channels Mk2 racks, allowing vibration protection to be extended to the most demanding rotating machinery.

Advanced Monitoring

The stand-alone VM600Mk2 condition monitoring card offers 16 dynamic channels and 4 tachometer channels, which can all be independently configured to provide unrivaled accuracy and reliability.
