The MVI56E-SIE Siemens Industrial Ethernet Communication Module allows Rockwell Automation ControlLogix

The Siemens Industrial Ethernet Communication Module allows Rockwell Automation ControlLogix Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs) to easily connect as Ethernet clients to up to 20 Siemens S7-200. S7-300. S7-400. S7-1200. and S7-1500 PLCs operating as Ethernet servers.

The module uses the ProSoft Configuration Builder (PCB), which provides graphical configuration tools

for managing module configuration files, as well as using the high-speed Ethernet port to view communications and module diagnostic information.

With ladder logic enable/disable commands, a variety of Siemens S7 CPUs can support a wide range of applications without having to reconfigure the module.

Data transfer with ControlLogix ® PAC uses scheduled I/O data for faster updates and better performance.

 Additional instructions (AOIs) for data transfer between modules and processors

 4-digit alphanumeric scrolling LED displays status and diagnostic data

 ProSoft Discovery Service (PDS) software for locating modules on the network and assigning temporary IP addresses

 Personalization Module - non-volatile, industrial-grade CF card for storing network and module configurations, allowing for quick product changes in the field by transferring CF cards
