Precise and reliable measurement
With its innovative operating principle, the PAD20 is ideal for monitoring heating and cooling systems in mechanical engineering. The sensor detects air and gas bubbles that can directly impair the performance and functionality of the equipment, ensuring process stability while improving system efficiency.
The PAD20 sensor was originally developed by Baumer at the request of a customer in the food and beverage industry. The customer wanted to prevent equipment and pumps from idling when changing containers. At the same time, they wanted to completely empty transport containers with fruit juice concentrates to avoid wasting resources.
The PAD20 sensor detects very small air bubbles during the dosing of the juice concentrate and thus determines the optimal time to change the container.
