Key Benefits
• Integrate GE relays, meters or other Modbus-compliant devices into DeviceNet networks
• Maintain monitoring and control functionality of integrated Modbus devices in a DeviceNet network
• Easy-to-use, PC-based Enervista Setup Software for simple configuration
• Integrate your protection and automation systems into one network
Communications
The D485 Modbus to DeviceNet Converter acts as
a gateway between a Modbus RTU network and a
DeviceNet network. Integration of Modbus devices
into DeviceNet networks is enabled without loss
of functionality, control, and reliability, both when
retrofitting to existing equipment as well as when
setting up new installations. The D485 Modbus
to DeviceNet Converter is an external DIN-rail
mounted device which provides DeviceNet
network connectivity via a serial RS232/RS422/
RS485 interface. The D485 is programmed using
the P485/D485 configuration cable and the
EnerVista P485/D485 Setup Software.
