Honeywell ControlEdge HC900 Controller

OVERVIEW 

The Honeywell ControlEdge HC900 controller is an advanced loop and logic controller with a modular design that meets the control and data management needs of a wide range of process equipment. Combined with the optional 900 Control Station Operator Interface, which is highly integrated with the controller database, configuration and setup time can be minimised. This powerful combination, combined with Honeywell's proven control technology, provides users with an ideal process control solution. An open Ethernet connection using Modbus TCP protocol also allows network access using a variety of HMI/SCADA software. An independent watchdog timer protects the programme execution environment.

Easy-to-use Windows-based Designer software, which operates over Ethernet or RS485 ports (isolated), simplifies controller configuration. The software is available in English, Chinese, Russian and German. It provides advanced monitoring capabilities for debugging, allows process configuration changes in run mode while maintaining process control, uploads complete graphical controller configurations with comments, and provides a range of reports for enhanced documentation. controlEdge HC900 controllers offer better PID cycling and more powerful analogue processing than most logic controllers without compromising logic performance. powerful analogue processing without compromising logic performance. Individual fast scanning 

cycle performs a rich set of logic and calculation function blocks. Logic function blocks can also be executed in the same scan cycle as analogue function blocks to handle time critical events.

These function blocks can be fully integrated into combined analogue and logic control strategies for unrivalled control performance.
