GE Mark VI Control System IS215VCMIH2C VME Communications Interface Card

This IS215VCMIH2C is designed as a VME communication card in the GE Mark VI turbine control system and is critical to the proper function of the entire system.

The VCMI VME communication board allows the input/output (I/O) card to communicate with other I/O cards mounted on the VME backplane, I/O mounted in the expansion rack,

I/O backup protection modules, triple-redundant control modules, and the main processor module or main processor modules.

The IS215VCMIH2C card is also broadly referred to as the VMEbus master controller. This PCB connects the communication between the I/O boards and the controller.
