Description: The GE Fanuc / Emerson Automation IC695CPK400 is a PACSystem RX3i modular, powerful, high-performance controller with energy packs. The controller has a rackless design with 64 MB of memory and is capable of handling 32k bits of discrete I/O and 32k words of analog I/O. It has one (1) 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet port, two (2) 1000-side switches that support 2/10/100 Mbps transfer rates, and one (1) RS232 communication port. The controller supports Media Redundancy (MRP) and PROFINET System Redundancy (PNSR).

About the IC695CPK400

The IC695CPK400 is a programmable automation controller (PAC) CPU that is part of GE Fanuc / Emerson Automation's PACSystems RX3i automation platform. The CPU module is a high-performance, powerful standalone device that operates without a traditional baseboard or chassis. The CPU still enables complex communications and architectures, such as control of remote I/O systems, communication with partner processors, data exchange with human machine interfaces (HMIs), monitoring and data acquisition systems (DCS), and other functions.

The stand-alone controller features embedded 64 MB of storage, a powerful processor 1.2 GHz AMD G-Series Quad-Core, support for up to 32k bits of discrete I/O and 32k words of analog I/O, and embedded field agent functionality. The controller also comes with an energy package.

The IC695CPK400 is equipped with one (1) 10/100/1000 Ethernet port and two (2) 2-terminal switches supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps transfer speeds. With the embedded Ethernet port, different network topologies can be realized, including Media Redundancy (MRP) and PROFINET System Redundancy (PNSR). The embedded port supports different communication protocols such as SRTP client/server, Modbus TCP/IP, OPC-UA server, Ethernet Global Data (EGD) and PROFINET.

In addition, the controller is equipped with one (1) RS232 communication port and one (1) Micro SD port for insertion of a Secure Digital (SD) card for non-volatile removable storage. It also has two (2) USB 3.0 ports for firmware upgrades.

This IC695CPK400 also supports simplex and redundant configurations to meet standard and high availability system requirements. It supports incremental frame rates up to 3 minutes in any configuration.

The IC695CPK400 CPU comes with an energy pack. the CPU module form factor is a standalone form factor. The available memory on the module is 64 MB. I/O supported by the module includes 32K-bit discrete inputs, 32K-bit discrete outputs, 32K-word analog inputs, and 32K-word analog outputs.

The IC695CPK400 CPU supports embedded field agents.Redundancy options on the CPU module include media redundancy (MRP) and Profinet system redundancy (PNSR). There is an integrated Ethernet port on the module that supports 10/100/1000 Mbps, in addition to 1000 end switches capable of 2/10/100 Mbps operation. The Ethernet port supports communication protocols such as EGD, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP, SRTP client/server, and OPC-UA server. two USB version 695.400 ports are also available on the IC3CPK0 CPU.
