Description.

The IC200PWR002 is a power supply module that is part of the VersaMax product family, currently part of Emerson Automation and previously manufactured by GE Intelligent Platforms. The power module is a 24 VDC extended power supply with an input supply voltage of 18-30 VDC. it has output voltages of 5 VDC and 3.3 VDC, and a total output current of 1.5 A, with a maximum of 1.0 A at 3.3 VDC and 1.5 A, and a maximum at the 5 VDC output.

About the IC200PWR002

The IC200PWR002 is a power supply module that is part of the VersaMax platform, which was previously manufactured by GE Intelligent Platforms (GE IP) and is now produced by Emerson Automation. This module can be used as a mains power supply or a power booster carrier. When used as a main power supply, this module is used to power a VersaMax that is enabled for installation and connected to a backplane. When used as a booster power supply, this module is mounted on the booster bracket and is used as a supplemental power supply. It has five screw type terminals located on the bottom front panel of the module. The two terminals on the left side are the DC and -DC terminals, while the third terminal is the ground terminal. The last two terminals do not need to be connected.

The IC200PWR002 is designed to operate from an input supply voltage of 18-30 VDC with a nominal supply voltage of 24 VDC.The module has an input power of 11 watts and a hold-up time of 10 milliseconds. Its inrush current is rated at 20 amps with a maximum duration of 6 milliseconds at 24 VDC and a minimum duration of 25 amps for 6 milliseconds at 30 VDC. Module output characteristics include output voltages of 5 VDC and 3.3 VDC with an output current of 1.5 amps, maximum at 3.3 VDC, and 1.0 amps at 5 VDC, provided that the output current does not exceed the maximum output of 1.5 amps. The power module is also fitted with internal short circuit, overload and reverse polarity protection.

This power supply module is primarily used with VersaMax I/O modules, Network Interface Units (NIUs), and Central Processing Units (CPUs).

The GE Fanuc IC200PWR002 Extended Power Supply Module is used to power backplane devices such as the I/O, CPU, and NIU. If it is connected to the network interface unit (NIU) or the central processing unit (CPU), the expansion power supply module acts as the main power supply. However, if it is connected to a power booster bracket, the extended power supply module acts as the auxiliary power supply.The output and input voltages of the IC200PWR002 module require a DC power supply. It has output ratings of 3.3 volts DC and 5 volts DC, and an input rating of 24 volts DC.The output voltages of 5 volts DC and 3.3 volts DC determine the output current of the module, which should not exceed 1.5 amps. It has an extended power supply option, but no isolated power supply.

The GE Fanuc Versamax IC200PWR002 extended power supply module has an input rating of 11 watts and a hold-up time of 10 milliseconds. It has an inrush current rating of 25 amps at 30 volts dc and 20 amps at 24 volts dc.The total output current of the IC200PWR002 extended power supply module should be rated at a maximum of 1.5 amps. If the output voltage rating is 3.3 volts, the output current will be 0.25 amps. If the output voltage rating is 5 volts, the output current will be 1.5 amps minus 3.3 volts of the voltage used. It measures 49 mm (1.93 inches) x 133.4 mm (5.25 inches) x 39 mm (1.54 inches).
