The IC200ALG230 is a VersaMax analogue input module. Formerly manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation, the module is now part of Emerson Automation.

This analogue input module has four (4) analogue inputs that can be configured specifically for voltage or current signals.

These are 4-20 mA current input signals and -10VDC / +10 VDC voltage input signals with 12-bit channel resolution.

About the IC200ALG230

The IC200ALG230 is an analogue input module from the Versamax modular I/O and control platform.

It is a compact analogue input module with four (4) individually configurable analogue input channels for voltage or current.

The module supports the interfacing of analogue signals, in particular unipolar 0 to 10VDC and bipolar +/-10 VDC voltage signals, as well as 4-20 mA current signals.

The IC200ALG230 is equipped with two (2) status LEDs for local reporting of the module's operational status.

Specifically, the INT Power LED indicates that internally generated field power is being supplied and the OK LED indicates that backplane power is actively supplied to the module.

The analogue input module has two (2) jumpers for setting the module's mode of operation, either voltage or current and unipolarity for bipolar data.

The IC200ALG230 has a built-in analogue-to-digital converter with a resolution of 4?A = 8 counts (configured for current operation) and 2.5 mV = 8 counts (for voltage configuration).

The module has a typical response time of 0.4 ms and a filter response of 5.0 ms.

The module's input data can be configured to hold to a *later state or to go to a defined value if a module error is detected.
