Beckhoff EL3314-0092 | EtherCAT Terminal, 4-channel analog input, temperature

The EL3314-0092 analog input terminal facilitates the direct

connection of four thermocouples in a 2-wire configuration.

The channels are electrically isolated from each other and

from the E-bus, which effectively prevents adverse effects

and damage due to cross currents.

Various types of thermocouples are supported, and voltage

-to-temperature conversions take place within the terminal.

The terminal also allows for mV measurements.

Wire breaks are signaled by error-LEDs, as well as on the

fieldbus. Cold junction compensation is carried out by an

internal precise temperature measurement at the connection

terminals; however,operation with an external cold junction

is also possible.

The EL3314-0092 also supports TwinSAFE SC (TwinSAFE

Single Channel). This enables the use of standard signals

for safety tasks in any networks or fieldbuses.
