Beckhoff EL2872 | EtherCAT Terminal, 16-channel digital output

The EL2872 digital output terminal offers a very compact design

with its 16 channels. A 20-pin contact strip enables the secure

connection of plug connectors using insulation displacement

contact, as is usual for ribbon cables and special round cables.

This significantly simplifies the wiring of many channels.

The signal states of the channels are indicated by LEDs.

Special features:

• Connection of different load types possible (ohmic, inductive,

lamp load)

• Ideal for valve terminals with multi-pin plug connection

• Max. output current 0.5 A per channel

• Short-circuit-proof outputs and reverse polarity protection
