The ED1839 digital input terminal acquires the binary 24 V DC control

signals from the process level and transmits them, in electrically isolated

form, to the higher-level automation device. The EtherCAT Terminal

contains 16 channels whose signal state is indicated by LEDs.

The power contacts are looped through. With the ED1839. the reference

ground for all inputs is the 0 V DC power contact.

Special features:

• positive switching

• adjustable filter times for reliable signal detection depending on the application

• suitable for both fast and slow signal curves

• direct connection of multi-channel sensors in single-ended connection

technique in the smallest space

The ED series EtherCAT Terminals have push-in connection technology

which makes wiring easy and tool-free.
