Advantech AIR-020 series edge inference platform is an ultra-compact edge intelligence complete machine powered by edge AI system with NVIDIA Jetson series core modules. Featuring a small footprint of only 139 x 110 x 44.5 mm, the AIR-020 series delivers low-power computing through the powerful AI inference capabilities of the NVIDIA Jetson Nano, TX2 NX, and Xavier NX SoM. The AIR-020 series is ideal for edge AI applications in industries such as traffic monitoring, defect detection, AGV/AMR, vision computing, medical imaging and more.

The AIR-020X is powered by the NVIDIA Xavier NX SoM, the AIR-020T is powered by the Jetson TX2 NX, and the AIR-020N is powered by the Jetson Nano to meet diverse AI applications and performance needs. The three products offer an ultra-compact design with dimensions of 139 x 110 x 44.5 mm, making them easy to integrate into existing applications. the AIR-020X supports up to 21 TOPS of arithmetic and high-resolution decoded imaging. the AIR-020T and AIR-020N support 1.33/0.5 TFLOPS. the AIR-020 series supports a wide range of 12-24V DC inputs, with -10% to -10V DC inputs, and -10% to -10V DC inputs. The AIR-020 series supports wide-voltage 12-24V DC inputs, operates in temperatures ranging from -10°C to 55°C, and is vibration and moisture resistant.

Diverse I/O and Strong Connectivity for Camera, Wireless, and Peripheral Integration

Artificial intelligence projects are used in a wide variety of applications; therefore, the requirements for peripheral connectivity vary. The AIR-020 series is equipped with a variety of I/O ports, including 2 x USB 3.2 Type A, USB 3.2 Type C, 1 or 2 x GbE, 1 or 2 x RS-232/422/485. 8-bit DIO, and CANBus for data acquisition and communication. The ultra-compact AI BOX comes preloaded with 4GB/8GB LPDDR4 and 16GB eMMC 5.1. In addition, the AIR-020 series offers a 128GB M.2 interface for expanding data storage for use as an AI.

Rapid AI Deployment with Ubuntu, Advantech Edge AI Suite and NVIDIA JetPack

The AIR-020 series comes bundled with Ubuntu 18.04 LTS operating system environment, Advantech Edge AI Suite and JetPack SDK 4.5.1. Developers can easily develop AI models and deploy their applications. In terms of data security, the AIR-020 utilizes the TPM 2.0 Trusted Platform Module and Secure Boot to provide a better edge system security platform.
