APPLICATIONS

The Line Transformer 500LTD02 is designed to be used

for 9.6kBd FSK channels and to isolate and protect RTU500 series modems.

Isolates and protects RTU500 series modems

23WT24 and 560FSM11 Isolates and protects the RTU500 series modems from the remote control line.

Line isolation and protection. In addition, it can be connected to

other data terminal equipment. It operates over a frequency range of 2 kHz to 50 kHz.

The line impedance is 150 ohms and is suitable for the above modems.

Both types of modems are capable of high-resistance interleaving on party lines and multi-line circuits.

This is due to the fact that the line transformer has no additional load on the line.

In configurations using full duplex communication channels, two line transformers are required, one for the transmit direction and the other for the receive direction.
