Makstar's Global R&D Technology Centre Launches Heavyweight New Products

On May 20. 2022. Makstar, the world's leading expert in logistics robotics, announced that its first global R&D technology centre was inaugurated in Jiangbei New District, Nanjing, which will form a grid matrix with five competence centres in Suzhou, Xi'an, Nantong, South Korea, and Australia, integrating global industry insights and technological resources, and continuing to strengthen the industry's unique R&D capability of integrating hardware and software, supporting global business expansion, and building an ‘open, cooperative, and win-win’ business model. ‘Openness, cooperation and win-win’ business model.

During the same period, Makalot officially launched two new products for the world: T6-1500 submerged jacking robot, which is ‘small in size, big in power’, provides leading endurance, load capacity, and trouble-free operation time with its small size that is unique in the industry. The new-generation Hsihe Robot Management System (RMS) 3.0 supports both local and cloud deployment, and can interface with a variety of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems for visual scheduling and management of a large number of robots (more than 1.000 units) of various types. Both stem from Makstar's unique modular product design concept and platform product strategy, providing customers with excellent return on investment with superior performance in the industry, and responding to the uncertainties and challenges brought by the epidemic with intelligent logistics and warehousing.

R&D Centre

Makstar's first global R&D technology centre is located in Jiangbei New District of Nanjing, the innovation highland of Jiangsu Province, and is planned and constructed as one with Makstar's Nanjing factory. This production and R&D complex covers a total area of 7.445 square metres, with a total investment of RMB 100 million, and will provide a strong guarantee for Makstar to achieve more efficient software and hardware integration and development, faster mass production and delivery cycles, and higher product quality.

Nanjing is a national logistics key, the local modern logistics industry chain continues to improve, and in recent years, more actively committed to incubating and supporting the technology leader type of enterprise, the development potential is huge. New Product Launch

With the official establishment of the Nanjing Global R&D and Technology Centre, Makestar will further take the platform strategy as the main line, the modularisation strategy as the support, and the quality enhancement strategy as the cornerstone, and continue to push forward the iterative upgrading of its products, so as to maintain and expand its technological advantages. The launch of the T6-1500 submerged jacking robot and the new generation of Hsiwa Robot Management System (RMS) 3.0 are typical representatives of this.

Upon its launch in 2021. the T6 series has become a benchmark platform product in the industry, with numerous large orders of over 200 units and multi-modal strategic cooperation and volume customisation agreements from a number of AMR body companies. As the new generation of T6 series, T6-1500 submerged jacking robot is known for its ‘small size, big power’, with its volume to load ratio, load/self-weight ratio, and endurance higher than similar products by 10%, 30%, and 100%, respectively. It is the latest model of the industry's first ‘open’ platform product series, with an open scheduling system, open vehicle scheduling protocols, support for a variety of navigation modes of modification, secondary development, increase the on-board, on-board equipment options and so on.

Adopts the automotive industry standard 48V54Ah lithium iron phosphate battery, which can provide 12 hours of strong endurance (the industry average is 6-8 hours), and higher safety.
