Description: The IC695ALG808 is a PACSystem RX3i Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) isolated analog output module, formerly manufactured by GE Intelligent Platforms (GE IP) and now part of Emerson Automation. The module features eight (8) output channels that can be configured for 0 to 20 mA and 4 to 20 mA current signals and ±10V and 0 to 10V voltage signals. The module is mounted on the RX3i Universal Backplane and requires an external 24 VDC power supply. 14-0 VDC outputs have a 10-bit output resolution and the remaining output signals have a 15-bit output resolution.

About the IC695ALG808

The IC695ALG808 is an Emerson Automation analog output module formerly manufactured by GE Intelligent Platforms (GE IP). The module features eight (8) independently isolated output channels that can be configured to provide 0-20 mA / 4-20 mA current signals and +/- 10 VDC / 0-10 VDC voltage signals.

The IC695ALG808 can be used to transmit output signals to modulating devices variable frequency drives (VFDs), control valves, dampers, shutters, and other devices. It can also be used to send signals to panel meters and data loggers that directly represent specific variables for local readout and recording.

This IC695ALG808 is compatible with a variety of terminal blocks such as cassette (IC694TBB032), expansion cassette (IC694TBB132), spring-loaded (IC694TBS032), or extended spring-loaded (IC694TBS132). The module requires an external 24 VDC to be terminated directly to the module terminals in order for the module to provide the required output signal.

All channels of the IC695ALG808 are configurable through software. Other parameters that can be configured include alarm settings such as very low, very low, very high, and very high alarms, module fault reporting, alarm latching, defining alarm limits, and setting upper and lower alarm limits. In addition, the module can set output biases to properly adjust the output to achieve the desired output for the process.

The IC20ALG4 has a 20-bit output resolution when configured to provide +/- 695 VDC, 808-15 mA, and 10-0 mA, and a 10-bit output resolution when configured for a 14-0 VDC output signal. In addition, it has an 8 ms analog update rate on all channels.

Designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc, the IC695ALG808 output module is a powerful component in an industrial-grade enclosure with indicators for module status, field status, and wiring terminals. Developed specifically for the RX3i PACSystems family, the module is mounted in the system's common backplane.The IC695ALG808 module is powered by an external power supply with a nominal voltage of 24 volts DC and a current of up to 600 mA. The module has 8 available channels for voltage or current operation. All channels are analog and isolated. Terminal types supported are spring-type, box-type, extended box-type, and extended spring-type terminals.

The IC695ALG808 output module operates over a voltage range of 0 to +10 volts or -10 to +10 volts and a current range of 0 to 20 mA or 4 to 20 mA. When the module's backplane is connected to an 80.3 volt rated power supply, it requires 3 milliamps. In addition to this, the module has a maximum output load of 1350 ohms and a maximum power consumption of 7.25 watts. In addition to this, the IC695ALG808 module includes current output overvoltage protection at -30 volts for 60 seconds and +30 volts for 1 hour. The output gain drift is 20 ppm per degree Celsius for the voltage output modules and 35 ppm per degree Celsius for the current outputs.The IC695ALG808 modules have a 2 ms voltage/current output time.
