June 26. China National Offshore Oil Corporation (referred to as “CNOOC”) announced that China's first offshore oil and gas equipment manufacturing “intelligent factory” - Haiyang Oil Engineering Tianjin Intelligent manufacturing base officially put into production, marking the intelligent transformation of China's marine oil and gas equipment industry to achieve a major breakthrough.

Pain points faced by traditional marine oil and gas equipment manufacturing

It is understood that the traditional offshore oil and gas equipment manufacturing is a labor-intensive industry, with many types of products, long manufacturing processes, a large proportion of customization, low degree of standardization and other notable features, the data fragmentation of the production chain is serious, the realization of the digital intelligence is extremely difficult to become a major bottleneck restricting the industry's quality and efficiency.

Haiyuan Engineering has innovated and applied 10 domestic “industry-first” advanced technologies such as “large-scale robotic welding of offshore oil and gas equipment”, realizing the digitalization of process management, work orderization of production tasks, automation of production equipment and visualization of production process in the manufacturing of offshore oil and gas equipment, filling the gap between China's offshore oil and gas equipment manufacturing process and the production process in the industry. Visualization, filling a number of technical gaps in the field of digital and intelligent manufacturing of offshore oil and gas equipment in China.

Create an intelligent factory for offshore oil and gas equipment manufacturing

The total area of the “intelligent factory” is about 575.000 square meters, with core facilities including three intelligent production centers, seven auxiliary workshops and eight assembly stations, with a designed annual production capacity of 84.000 structural tons, and a high-quality wharf with a total length of 1.631 meters suitable for docking of large offshore engineering vessels and floating production, storage and offloading units (FPSOs). Resources.

As a demonstration base for digital transformation of central enterprises, Haiyang Oil Engineering Tianjin Intelligent Manufacturing Base applies a large number of advanced technologies such as 5G, industrial big data, artificial intelligence, etc. By analyzing and summarizing the company's years of experience in project planning, production organization, workshop execution and other technologies and experiences in large-scale engineering structures, it realizes the whole-process intelligence from project control, workshop construction to plant management, and offers replicable and scalable digitalization solutions for the offshore oil and gas equipment industry. It provides a replicable and popularized digital intelligent operation and management model for the offshore oil and gas equipment industry, and also promotes the company's operation and management to actively transform to digitalization.

“Intelligent factory” mainly includes production system mainly based on flat segmented production line, process pipeline production line and automatic three-dimensional warehouse, software management system mainly based on digital intelligent manufacturing management system, production execution system and warehouse management system, site support system mainly based on information collection system, intelligent security system and kinetic energy monitoring system, and workshop production logistics and material distribution system. And workshop production logistics and material distribution system and other parts, through the application of intelligent manufacturing technology and the lean integration of various systems, to vigorously promote China's marine equipment manufacturing from the traditional “manpower factories” to the modernization of “intelligent factories”.

Intelligent factory achievements

The “Smart Factory” applies more than 400 sets of advanced intelligent production equipment such as automatic cutting, automatic grinding, intelligent grouping, intelligent welding, intelligent storage, etc., realizing the intelligence of the workshop prefabrication process from the material admission to the scribing, grouping, grinding, welding, etc., with the rate of automatic cutting of the plate reaching 90%, and the rate of automatic welding of the deck piece reaching 70%. The overall production efficiency can be increased by more than 20% compared with the traditional mode, and the cost control and quality and safety management level is greatly enhanced.
